March 22, 2012 is National Medical Biller’s Day. Medical Billers Day was first initiated by The American Medical Billing Association (AMBA) in 2008 to honor and recognize the hard work and dedication of medical billing professionals.
Many states have received official proclamations from their governor offices declaring the fourth Thursday in March Medical Biller’s Day.
In celebration, the AMBA will be having games and contests for its members all day on March 22nd and there will be special events scheduled around the country as well.
